Overview

At the end of the SSP Scholar Development Programme, learners are assessed in all learning areas, and a selected number will be awarded the ultimate prize, an SSP scholarship to attend one of South Africa’s best high schools. Placement will be made at one of SSP’s partner schools in Johannesburg, Pretoria, East London, Grahamstown and Western Cape.

The SSP high school scholarship is a 5-year programme that is infused with extra-curricular leadership and personal development activities usually taking place on Saturdays throughout the scholar’s high school career. It is a rigorous programme aimed at developing future leaders in all aspects of South African society.
