Overview

Liberty Life is seeking to grant bursaries for applicants to study Actuarial Science full-time at various tertiary institutions. Awarded Bursaries are renewed annually based on the student's academic performance and are subject to review after each examination.

The awarding of bursaries is based on merit although preference will be given to previously disadvantaged applicants (African, Indian and Coloured).

Successful applicants will be required to do a prescribed amount of vacation work during the June and December study breaks at Liberty’s Head Office.

Minimum Requirements

• A distinction for mathematics at higher grade
• South African Citizenship

Bursary Covered Costs:

• Tuition fees
• Residence fees
• Subsistence allowance
• Textbooks and study material allowance
• First year students qualify for a calculator allowance

Note: Applications are open to students in any year of study and are renewable annually
