Overview

PwC has an extensive bursary scheme through their Advisory division. The bursary scheme is financial assistance given to students with a good academic record for furthering their studies. The amount of the bursary will depend on evidence that you cannot afford all the costs of your studies. The bursary will only cover a portion of tuition fees, accommodation and books.

Who can apply for a bursary?

Bursaries are awarded to students who are studying towards their undergraduate and/or postgraduate qualifications in any of the following degrees:

  • BSc IT/ Computer Science
  • BSc IS/ Information Systems
  • BCom IT/ Informatics
  • Actuarial Science/Mathematics
  • Engineering Management
  • Accounting
  • Management
Selection Criteria

To be considered for a PwC bursary, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be enrolled for studies for any of the above-mentioned degrees
  • If you are an undergraduate student you must pass all your university courses with an average of at least 70%
  • If you are a postgraduate student you must pass all your university courses with an average of at least 60%
  • Have good personal and leadership skills

As a recent graduate working for PWC after completing your studies you may wish to continue your studies after joining PWC. PWC recognise how important this is to you and the firm. PWC has study support programmes to help you achieve this.
